David Howard

Hey there!

I’ve been working with Intrinsic for the past four years on its graphic design and creative communications needs. I have more than 20 years experience in branding, graphic design, illustration, art direction and creative management and served for 15 years as Executive Creative Director for a multi-million dollar advertising agency with offices in Dallas and Houston.

I’m equally at ease developing brands, collaborating with architects and builders on large scale real estate development projects and creating a museum for a Fortune 500 company as I am creating public involvement meeting materials and project logos.

I’ve been told I’m not your typical ‘creative.’ I work hard to be an insightful marketing strategist, and I quickly grasp complex business situations and translate strategies into impactful creative solutions. I don’t just design for the sake of design; I design to impact the bottom line.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in advertising and am an avid painter. My clients have included the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Federal Highway Administration Scenic Byways, W Hotels, TXU Energy, Centex Homes, Trammell Crow Residential, La Madeleine, JCPenney Company, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospitals, Texas Health Resources, Sterling Senior Living, Broadway Condominiums, Elk Building Products, Bennigan’s Irish American Grill, Big Brothers and Sisters, Citigroup, and Decker Foods, among others.  I am comfortable collaborating creatively and successfully with other teams and firms and have done so in many of the client relationships listed above.

I was born and raised in Corsicana, Texas, south of Dallas. I grew up a cowboy and helped my family raise cattle on our farm. In my spare time, I love looking for fossils in the dry creek bed behind my home and spending time with my wife, young daughter and a myriad of pets.
