While Intrinsic’s aim is to work proactively and avoid conflict situations, specific contracts have dealt successfully with controversial issues or where conflicts previously had stalled project progress. We have assisted in complex negotiations between governments, between government agencies, and between government agencies and the public, resulting in new partnerships and increased project efficiency. We see resolving conflict as an opportunity to help all stakeholders reach new understandings, smoothing the way for future projects and increasing meaningful public involvement. Intrinsic’s co-owners are members of the Association for Conflict Resolution and regularly attend conferences hosted by organizations such as the Center for Environmental Conflict Resolution and the Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution. Additionally, we are certified as a mediator in the state of Texas and members of the New Mexico Mediators Association and Arizona Association for Conflict Resolution.
