Intrinsic Begins Work on Two-Year Roadway Construction Project
03/01/06
Intrinsic recently began public outreach efforts on a roadway construction project in Winslow, Ariz. The client plans to build a $20-million urban-style traffic interchange at I-40 and North Park Dr. because of the debilitated state of the current interstate bridges. Intrinsic was approached directly for this project because of our strong background with successful transportation projects in rural, northern Arizona. "This project also requires special attention because it is one of less than a dozen projects identified by the Federal Highways Administration for national Work Zone Focus State efforts," explained Intrinsic Project Manager Dexter Albert. "We're honored to be a part of the process." The North Park TI project is scheduled for completion in December 2007.

Intrinsic to help with EPA workgroup
01/02/06
Intrinsic was retained by the U. S. Environment Protection Agency to help facilitate a series of meetings between EPA officials and tribal representatives to develop and implement a national Underground Storage Tank Compliance strategy. The strategy gives priority to releases that present the greatest threat to human health or the environment and to the implementation and enforcement of requirements concerning USTs located on tribal lands. A national workgroup comprised of tribal leaders from more than 50 tribes nationwide and EPA headquarters and regional staff has begun work on a draft of the strategy. Efforts will continue through early August 2006 at which time the final strategy is due to Congress per the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which President Bush signed on Aug. 8, 2005.
